7 things, which you must know when you want to buy a property

  • People outside the EU must register a company in Bulgaria to be able to buy a land or a house with land.

 

  • People from EU could buy land in Bulgaria after the 10 years adjustment period or if they register themselfs as a residents or if they register a company.

 

  • The common price for establishing a company is 600 euros for the law firm and 2500 euros own capital.

 

  • The tax, which has to be paid in the event of buying a property is not less than 2% on the tax appraisal of the real estate.

 

  • When choosing a real estate company, please ask for their licence from NRPA ( national real property association ).

 

  • The commission of the licensed agencies is 3%, excluding cases when there is contract or other agreements.
